Meet the Team: Emily McNamara

This month, our featured staffer is Emily McNamara! Emily works at the front desk of our Point Meadows location. Here’s a little bit more about her:

Q: Where are you from?
A: I was born in Chattanooga, TN, but consider myself from Blairsville, GA

Q: What’s your favorite activity after work?
A: Shopping!!!!

Q: How many children do you have or would like to have?
A: No children at this time…maybe in the future.

Q: Do you have pets? What kind?
A: 2 dogs – Bailey, My Pug and Brutus, my Boston Terrier

Q: How would you describe your job at Jax Beach Pediatrics?
A: Fun and always interesting J

Q: Are you what you wanted to be when you grew up?
A: NO I wanted to be an Astronaut or an Archaeologist

Q: What’s the number one question you get asked in the office?
A:  Are you accepting new patients?

Q: Have you seen in local trends in the area that parents have questions about?
A: Rashes and/or high fevers due to viral illness

Q: Do you have any tips about what parents can do to make the most of their visits with the doctor?
A: Come prepared with all questions /concerns at hand.

Q: Tell us one funny story from the office.
A: We always have funny things happen at the Pt. Meadows office. There are just too many to tell.
